About me: Nottingham Photographer

Hi I'm Bethan, a Nottingham photographer based in Mapperley specialising in maternity photography, newborn photography, baby photography and family photography.

I've always had a love for photography, being from a design background. I love the creativity that it gives you and the special moments you're able to capture in one click.

That said, it wasn't until I had my own daughter in January 2021 that I discovered my love for photographing newborns. Due to being in a lockdown at the time I had no choice but to get the camera out to capture the newborn days that pass us by so fast. It didn't stop there though, the camera has never been put away since. After completing a further course on maternity leave my mind was made up and this was what I wanted to do on a daily basis. 

Simplicity is what a strive for. I like to capture exactly what is there in front of me. No heavy editing and no unnatural posing. A timeless style that puts all the focus on you the client. My shoots are completely client led so whether it's you or your 2 week old newborn, I will follow your lead.
